‘Tis the season! As we enter into the festive period of 2024, the whole team at The Spotted Dog are delighted to be welcoming you in for an unforgettable dining experience.

This year, the chefs have truly created some special menu choices. Coupled with our cozy décor, whichever day and time you are joining us, we are sure that you will have a lovely time with us.

There are many menus and offers to choose from. Some of our favourites are the Christmas Party Menu, the Festive Afternoon Team or our Casino night to bring in 2025. Christmas Day is a very special day with our now very famous feast of over 20 dishes for everyone to enjoy!

Come join us for a ‘WOW’ lunch on Wednesdays to Saturdays. Offering 1 Course for £18, 2 Courses for £22, or 3 Courses for £26. All of our food is freshly prepared using locally sourced ingredients. Our Table d’hote Menus are changed seasonally.

Our inspired dishes will leave you satisfied, served in a quaint thatched restaurant nestled in the countryside just on the outskirts of Dunmow. All of our food is freshly prepared and served using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients.
